Our Mission Statement:
The mission of Beautiful Grassland Montessori School is to help children prepare themselves for life. We Seek to mirror the rich diversity of our community. We foster independence, critical thinking, peace，respect and responsibility to self, to others, and to the earth.
This mission is accomplished by:
-Adhering to Montessori theory and practice as defined by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI).
-Recognizing the value of a curriculum based early childhood education while meeting culturally based needs.
-Fostering an environment that helps children prepare themselves for life through independence, critical thinking, respect and responsibility to self, to others, and to the Earth.
-Encouraging bilingual education and multi-cultural community.
-Helping teachers and parents to remain focused on this goal and not be sidetracked by adult agendas.
-Encouraging involvement of parents, teachers, children and the larger community.
-Supporting a learning community for all members, child and adult.
